Margaret was one of life's rare treasures. She will be missed but I know that heaven is an even sweeter place now that she calls it her home. I remember her fondly. She was very dear to my father Neal Adkins, he thought the world of her. I am so sorry for your loss.

I'm Wilburn Adkins daughter Sharon Kay and I just wanted the family to know how much I Loved her she has brought me great memories from my childhood. I got to see her last year I was so happy to see Margaret just holding her hand and just looking and sitting close to her made me feel so good.It brought memories of my Dad back when we used to visited her and the family. I've always wanted to be in the Adkins Family Cemetery. Steven Wayne and I alwayed talk about being buried there. I know Margaret is with God now and that she will be missed. Sending my Love to all Sharon Kay Adkins

Margaret was the sweetest lady you ever wanted to meet. Some of my fondest memories of her was when she would let us fish in her pond near her house, when we where done she would talk to us and ask how we did, she was so friendly. She will be greatly missed.

Dear Family, we have lost a legacy but as we often hear &our loss is heavens gain. Your mom and grandmother was a very dear friend and icon to me. She loved you all very much and loved sharing your accomplishments with me and Im sure others as well. In the absence of my mom, Margaret was my mentor; she was honest, caring and passionate about her beliefs and always willing to help a neighbor. We all know that she was afraid of thunderstorms... When I lived on the Ridge she would come to our house at the first sighting of a thunder cloud and she never wanted to miss the 12:00 news& so she is the one that got me in the habit of watching the news (i've learned alot :). I will forever cherish our times spent together on my front porch solving the worlds problems one at a time. I will miss you my dear friend, Love always Debbe Williamson.

You will not know me. When I was a very small child, we were neighbors for a short while, with Harry & Margaret on Hickory Ridge. My parents were Bill & Hulda McChristian. My brother, Jan (Sockie Joe) was friends with Phil. Margaret was a good friend to my mother. I remember her as a very kind, loving woman, that patiently got me down from the little tree in her yard that I climbed over and over, but couldn't get down from. I think it was a cherry tree. I have thought about them many, many times throughout the years, and was saddened to see this. I really just wanted to give my condolences, and to share a little memory of Margaret that has stayed with me for well over 50 years.
