Dear Family, Our hearts are with you at this time. Isn't it fortunate that we all have beautiful memories! So sorry we couldn't be there but enjoyed seeing Judy visiting Willa in Healthcare at Woodlands this Fall. Just remember, we've all been there and our thoughts and prayers are with you, especially through this Christmas season. Clarissa, Paul and Jodi Carson

I don't know if many of our family will get around to checking this site, with all that is going on at this time. I would like to thank you for taking the time to share a moment you've spent with my grandmother and to offer condolences. It means a lot to hear from people that knew her.

To Willa's family, I am sorry for your loss. I met Willa when my sister, Jennifer married David Lilly, and she was always so warm and welcoming and had the best smile. I truly liked her and know that she will be missed. My deepest sympathy for your loss.

To the family of Willa Slack, I am so sorry that Willa has died. My mom, Ruth Boyd, was very close friends with Willa and would go and visit Willa daily after dinner. Before Willa was confined to her room, mom and Willa ate lunch and dinner together religiously. They were also in Marie's Shakespeare class. Mom died before Willa, so now they are up in heaven together. Willa was a wonderful friend to mom. Sincerely, Tina Boyd Wagoner

Willa was the most loving woman - her heart was so full of love for everyone. She was my mom's (Ruth Boyd) fantastic friend for so many years at Woodlands. They are now having a reunion! It was a treat everytime my sisters and I would accompany Mom to her room for a visit this past year. Peace and love to her family.
