I grew up and was friends with Buddy until I left Barboursville after graduation in 1961. I have attempted to get in touch the past few years and when I finally find Buddy I find he has passed. Bless the family and friends of Buddy Woodrum!

Anita, My heartfelt sympathy on learning of "Buddy's" passing. In the 80's when I went to work at the Railroad in Huntington, Buddy was my first friend. He befriended me, repaired my junk cars, and I will never forget him. He was the only one in the shops who could throw a baseball farther than me. All those want-a-be's in Hollywood couldn't hold a candle to "Bud Woodrum", Bud was the REAL McCoy ! I thank almighty God that I was blessed in knowing him. May he Rest in Eternal Peace.

To Anita (Sissy), Amy, Lauren, and the family: We, as you, are so shocked at how quickly Buddy was taken. We know your pain is so intense but there seems to be insufficient words to express the sympathy and compassion we send to you at this time. As you recall all the wonderful times, places, and things involving Buddy in your life, may the memories be warm and comforting to your heart. You will be on our hearts and in our prayers for that comfort and peace to come to you. Your time together was full of joy and fun and we hope these memories sustain you. We will thinking of you and praying for you now and int he days to come. Love and hugs, Aunt Blackie & Larry
