Melanie, Time does help. It sounds like you and your mom were close. I have found that even though I cannot physically speak with my mother, I know exactly what she would say. I find it very comforting and I know you will, too. God Bless.

We would like to express our condolences to all of you at this sad time. We have learned many things about your mother from ours (Janet Pyles) and know that she was a meticulous worker and funny, fiercely loving woman. Thank you for letting us know in advance of the newspaper release so that we were able to tell Mom. How thoughtful of you during such a stressful time. It's such a small world, and knowing so many of you from different times of our lives,we pray that God grants you comfort in knowing she is with her heavenly family.

I regret to hear the news of Betty's passing. We were friends and co-workers at the Gallia County Courthouse for many years, and I always respected her exemplary work. It was a pleasant surprise when my daughter and son-in-law were working at St. Mary's with Melanie and Fred Herr so that I was able to hear about Betty through them. I have been and will continue to keep your whole family in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for calling Larry with this sad news before it was published; I appreciate it more than you know. I pray that Betty is painless and at peace in the arms of our Lord.
