DENISE ANN "NEECEE" DION, 50, of Milton, passed away April 1, 2013, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Charles Caserta. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born Sept. 3, 1962, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of the late Leo Omar Dion and Bonnie Helena Curry Dion. She was also preceded in death by two siblings, Louis Dion and Lana Dion. She is survived by two daughters, Erica Cole (Shane) and LaTisha Dion (Danny Ash); three stepchildren, Brinklee Clark, Chris Snyder and Kaberil Snyder; father of her children, Dale Snyder; four sisters, Karris Roefer, Delia Card, Patricia Greer and Cheryl Dion; two brothers, Steven Dion and George Dion; one grandson, Danny Ash Jr.; best friend of 23 years, Kimmy Ferguson; and special friend, Kenny Clark. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace. I am writing on behalf of my mother Opal Ferguson, we are so sorry to hear of Needee's passing. Mom was her neighbor for years and thought a lot of Neecee. You are in our prayers.

I am so sorry for your family. I wish we could have been to the wake and funeral,,we did not know until sunday...I know her family..her daughters and grandson were everything to her...u can bet she is watching us and protecting us...She was and always will be a big part of my life...RIP Necee...until we met again..

Our hearts are with Denise's daughters and siblings. I know what family meant to her and how close she was with everyone. We can't be there in person, but know that our hearts and prayers are always with the Dion family. God really broke the mold when he made sweet sweet Denise. We will love her always.
