 Evelyn L. Moreland, 87 of Rt. One, Barboursville, WV went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at St. Marys Hospital. She was born in Newport, Kentucky, daughter of the late Victor and Agnes Schneider. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, John (WA8AIJ); son John Michael Moreland of Huntington; daughters, Sharen McCallister (Darrell) of Barboursville and Terry Moreland Todd of Louisville, KY; granddaughter she loved like a daughter, Candy McCallister Hamilton of Louisburg, KS (Daniel); two grandsons who loved their Nana , Michael Todd (Kristen) of Palos Hills, IL and Christopher Todd of Evansville, IN.; and two great-grandchildren: Brandon Shaefer of Louisburg, KS and William Lennon Todd of Palos Hills, IL. Evelyn graduated from St. Marys School of Nursing. She enjoyed her nursing career at St. Marys Hospital and then in the private practice of William Sadler, MD in Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Wallace Funeral Home in Milton, with Pastor Donald Weeks of Antioch Baptist Church, where she had been a member for 60 years, officiating; followed by burial at Forest Memorial Park in Milton. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Johnny,Sharon,Terry,and Mike I am so sorry for you loss your momma was one of my fondiest memories growing up. I have read we are born twice once a natural birth and again when our Mother passes,she will be so sadly missed I pray God will give you peace and understanding. Brenda

My deepest sympathy, and prayers for the strength to hold on, to a family who has loss an amazing lady. My heart breaks for your loss..Fudges Creek has lost a special Angel.. I had always admired Evelyn since I was a kid.. She was so nice to our family.. I will never forget her.. Heaven has gained an Angel..3..
