Wormy will be missed by many including myself. When I first came to Barboursville High School as an Assistan Principal, Wormy was one of the first people to welcome me. He always talked about my grandfather, Twenty Lantz, with warm memories. Condolences to his family. RIP

Wormie was a great friend of ours when we lived on Peyton Street. I never will forget the grandsons feeding the pony and the pony getting on the greens over at Knob Hill...he holds a special place in our hearts. We recently got to see him at Bob Evans this year...love to you and your family Wormie. I know Lucille was glad to see you once again.

I first meet our father at Knobb Hill Golf Course when I was 21 years old. I will never forget how nice and helpful he was as I started taking up the game. We will meet again someday and he can show me all around heaven..May God Bless you and your family.

I want to express my condolences at Mr.Gibson's death.
I played sports at B'ville High(class of '64), and one of my favorite ,vivid memories of football was when Wormy made fun of the refs after our loss at Logan High.
We played maybe our best game of that season and in truth, the refs did steal it from us with some terrible calls...Wormy got in front of the refs and started waving and dropping his hanky in front of them many times..They were aggravated...
Also, he and his family were very kind and generous toward our school athletes and me as well. My best wishes to Wormy's family.
Sincerely,
Jack Kessick
