Diana Consuelo HatfieldDiana Consuelo Hatfield, 71, of Salt Rock, WV passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Darrell Wooten. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born April 14, 1942 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Antonio and Naomi McCorkle Diaz. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Wahlien McCorkle. She is survived by her husband, Tomie Hatfield; one daughter and son-in-law, DeAnna and Rodney Hafer of Barboursville; four sons and daughters-in-law, Mark Barnett of Barboursville, Col. Jeffery and Nora Barnett of Whiteman AFB, MO, Antonio and Cindy Barnett of KY, and Benjamin Hatfield of Salt Rock; two step-daughters, Nada Rose Marz, of FL, and Diane Caldwell of Salt Rock; two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Terry Gene and Donna Hatfield, of GA and Billy and Sunji Hatfield, of Columbus, OH; two sisters, Lolita Greenawalt and Mimay Diaz both of Milton; twenty-three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

In memory of my sister Jackie Folwer who was good friends with Diana many years ago in Huntington, although my sister is gone I know she would want to send condolence to the family. So sorry for your loss.

I was thinking the exact same thing Amanda said..M..R..Not Ducks! Oh Yes M..R..See em wangs? Aunt Di definitely knew how to make someone smile and her memory will forever be cherished! My thougths, hugs, and prayers go out to each and every one of you! So sorry of your loss, but know that she is in a better place now. And I know of a few cherished people that were waiting at the gates to welcome her home! I love you all!!!

There was a joke that Aunt Di used to tell... Although, I can only remember the punch line....... L..I...B...M...R... Ducks!!! Deanna, Scott, Tony Brian, Mark, Ben and all those grandkids, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Rest in the knowledge that right now she is herself again and forever will be!! I love you all!!!

Aunt Di we will miss you more than you know but we have our memories and my favorites are when we were young and you played dress up with us and didnt care that we made a mess of your clothes shoes and jewelry...Uncle Tomie and all of her children and grandchildren our hearts ache for you all so much and if any of you need anything please don't hesitate.. 3046340748...
