 Sandra Frances Chapman, 69, of Milton, passed away December 2, 2013, at Rose Terrace Health and Rehab. She was born May 15, 1944, in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Strickling Powers and Violet Powers. She was also preceded in death by one son Gregory Stowasser; father of her children, Ormah Vinson Stowasser; second husband, Wade Douglas Chapman. She is survived by one daughter, Kristi DeGrandpre; two sisters, Karen Corey and Wanda Lewis; and one brother, Gary Powers. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2013, at Union Baptist Church, by Pastor Rick Watson and Pastor Winford Curry. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, and after 1 p.m. Thursday at the church. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

My condolence to the family. I met her in December at the Christmas dinner last year,and I rejoined Mary Kay in January of this year. I am so thankful that I met her. Sandy has inspired me to keep fighting and never quit on what you want. I will truly will miss her,her hugs,and her loving smile.

She was and is still a living testimony to Gods grace. I loved her spirit, sparkling eyes and beautiful smile. I had joy in knowing that she is with Jesus and I will see her soon. Amen
