 Julia F. Baumgardner, 88, of Barboursville, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2013 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Bill Davis and Pastor Gary Wilson. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born June 24, 1925 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Jay and Bertha Rice Wilson. She was a retired cook for the Cabell County Board of Education after 29 years of service. She was also a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Baumgardner and two sons, Eddie Baumgardner and Greg Baumgardner; sister, Nora Marie Grimes; brothers, James, Fred, and Don Wilson. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Orman Hall of Barboursville; two sisters, Betty Ford of Barboursville and Harvalee Elkins of Ona; one brother, Pastor Gary Wilson of Milton; seven grandchildren, Kevin Hall, Kelli Carter, Chad Baumgardner, Kristyn Adkins, Erika Frazier, Tara and Justin Baumgardner; and thirteen great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Midland Meadows, St. Marys Medical Center, Rose Terrace, and the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House for kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 64, Ona, WV 25545 or Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Rd., Huntington, WV 25702. So sorry to hear of Julia's passing. I had the privilege of caring for her at MM and I will always remember her. She LOVED biscuits & gravy! She was a sweetie.

I always remember Julia having a smile on her face! I am sadden to hear of her passing but know she is rejoicing now! Prayers for all of you.
