Michael Lenwood Mount Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1953 - 2013 Michael Lenwood Mount, 60, of Ona passed away December 24, 2013 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Paul Meadows. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born January 12, 1953, in Cabell County, WV, a son of Everett Lenwood Mount of Culloden and the late Mary Catherine Stapleton Mount. He was also preceded in death by his two stepsons, Stewart and Matthew Chapman. He retired from CSX bridge shop Barboursville. He was a member of Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Blankenship Mount; two daughters and son-in-law, Kathy Adkins and Kimberly and Keith Zimmerman; one son and daugher-in-law, Shawn and Monica Mount; two sisters and brother-in-law, Vicki and Jim Jordan, and Marilyn Dotson; stepmother, Elaine Mount; grandchildren, Brok, Kaitlin, and Connor Adkins, Travis and Julia Zimmerman, Madison and Garrett Mount, Tristan, Logan, Emilie and Pierce Chapman; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Hey Vicki and Marilyn, you guys may not remember me. It's been many years. I am deeply saddened at learning of Mike's passing. We spent a lot of time hanging out together. I have fond memories of you guys, your parents, and the house on Avondale with a million steps.Probably the last time I saw Mike was at Circuit City at the mall before they built their new store. It's amazing how much Mike looks like his dad! My prayers go out for the entire family during this most difficult time. Please feel free to let me know if I can be of assistance in any way.
