Era Lou Graybeal VanWay Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1928 - 2013 Era Lou Graybeal VanWay, 84, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Bishop Gary Carico. Burial will be in Bowen Cemetery, Huntington. She was born December 30, 1928, in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Dudley Graybeal and Viola Barnett Graybeal. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Huntington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Dennis VanWay; six brothers and two sisters. She is survived by six children and their spouses, Brenda (Jim) Gibson, Carl (Teresa Watts) VanWay Jr., Deborah (Floyd) Culwell, Gail (Rick) Conner, Claude (Rosemary Sly) VanWay and Carl Childers; and Elanda VanWay, whom she loved like a daughter; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and sisters-in-law, Mildred Wright and Maxine Adkins. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013, at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
