
VELMA "PATTY" WALLACE, 89, of Barboursville, passed away January 19, 2014, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born September 16, 1924, in Wayne County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison and Georgia Belle Burris Hazlett. She was a longtime member of Bloomingdale-Salem Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Wallace; one daughter, Delores Ann Wallace; two brothers and six sisters. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Roland Bell of Barboursville; one grandson and his wife, Shawn and Cathy Christian; two great-grandchildren, Connor Christian and Aidan Christian; special nieces and their spouses, Beth and Frank Blake, Jane and Jim Hayton, Jody and Mike Reed, and Luann and Mickey Holland; great-nephews and spouses, Josh and Ashley Hayton, and John and Tara Campioni; and three shining little stars, Hannah and Emily Campioni and Braylen Hayton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Jeff Sizemore. Burial will be in Cyrus Cemetery, Prichard.
