 Donna Avanell Tidd, 80, of Huntington, WV, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015. She was born April 2, 1935 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Shellie and Julia Collins Woodrum. She was a retired nursing home care giver and last attended Barboursville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Tidd, a son-in-law, Gene Mead and a brother-in-law, Bill Bowen. She is survived by a daughter, Becky Mead of Lexington, KY; one son, Jimmy Tidd and wife Mitzi of Huntington; two sisters, Evis Bowen of Barboursville and Shelia Reynolds and her husband Wallace of Bartow, Florida; two grandsons and their wives, Jeremy and Cyndi Tidd, Justin and Jaime Tidd; and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, September 6, 2015 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by the Rev. Wallace Reynolds. Burial will be at a later date in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice House.
