Charles Anthony Cassio, 66, of Culloden, WV, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar. He was born June 18, 1949 in Boston, MA, a son of the late Charles Cassio Sr. and Patricia Maloney Cassio. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Timothy Cassio. He is survived by two sons, Shawn Cassio of Barboursville and Gregory Cassio and his wife Kathy of Culloden; and three grandchildren, Tyler, Sierra and Dustin Cassio. Charlie was a Vietnam veteran and a member of the Huntington Detachment 340 Marine Corps League. He was their paymaster for four years and a member of the Military Order of the Devil Dogs.
