So sad to hear of John's passing. I remember taking baths ( in the same tub ) with "Big John" and my brother Bill twice a day to get the Williamson coal/soot off so that Aunt Nell would let us eat lunch and dinner !! What a great cousin and such a special person !! All our love and God's grace to John and his family and friends !

I am very sorry for your loss. John was a very nice man and a colleague. He was funny smart and compassionate. HE loved his kids. I will personally miss his jokes. May God keep you in his hands and welcome John with open arms.

So sorry to hear! Just-now got word. John was a wonderful, dear boyhood friend and playmate in West Williamson when he lived on S.Sunset and I lived on W. 6th Avenue (now the home of John & Jamie Weaver). Like most kids and young-teens, we tromped-around the hills, dug holes, chopped trees, and just acted distracted and stupid like kids did in THOSE days, when there was...well, there was almost NOTHING like what we have all-around us nowadays. John and I romped and played, sometimes with Michael (Steve) Younger, Jimmy Sanders, etc. May God Bless John, his sister Susan (who I also knew), his children, grandchildren, and his entire family and friends at this truly sudden-and-very-sad time. Love always, Jim Esson
