1917 - 2016
 Raymond Lee Clark, 98, born August 3, 1917, of Barboursville went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife Madelyn Lois Bledsoe Clark, and his parents Thomas J. Clark and Zella Belle Clark. Left behind are his daughter and son-in-law Carol and Ronnie Jones of Barboursville; two granddaughters Rhonda Bays (Jason) and Amy Chase (Rob); two great grandchildren Breeann and Lexie Bays; two sisters, Christine Caldwell and Mary Emmer Lunsford (Fred). He retired from CSX Railroad with 25 years of service, he was a member of Cyrus Creek Baptist Church, and a gardener and raiser of strawberries. Many thanks and appreciation to Genesis Health Care at Hurricane. All the staff and nurses have been wonderful. He will be greatly missed but has already joined his wife in Heaven. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2016, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Bill Davis. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be on one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace. |

I am so sorry to hear about Raymond. I saw him on June 30 which was my moms birthday. You know he was one of my favorite residents and I will miss seeing him when I go over to the nursing home. I always made a point of stopping and seeing him.the last time I seen him he didn't know who I was until I told him my name. I loved Raymond he reminded me so much of my dad. I'm sorry for your loss but like you said he is in heaven with his wife.

Carol & family sending our sympathy & prayer's in the loss of you Dad. We would see him everytime we went (2 or more times a week) up to the nursing home... Rex's brother Raymond Evans is in the room next to your Dad. was sorry to hear of his passing.but know he is in a much happier place now with Jesus & your Mom. Love, Irene & Rex
