Roy Lee Nicely Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1943 - 2016 Roy Lee Nicely, 73, of Barboursville, WV, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock. He was born January 25, 1943 in Cabell County, a son of the late Basil and Belvie Adkins Nicely. He was preceded in death by his companion, Virginia Nicely, one son, Roy Lee Nicely Jr., and one brother, Glen Nicely. He is survived by three daughters, Tina and Jackie Adkins of Branchland, Terry and Randy Hughes of Milton, and Chasity and Rod Hammond of Huntington; three sons, Tim and Mary Sue Nicely, Troy and Violet Nicely, and Jason Nicely and Rob Chapman of Huntington; two sisters, Joan Bundy and Charlene Adkins, both of Huntington; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Troy I was so sorry to see your dad's obituary in the paper just now. He and I had a good long conversation when all of you were here cutting trees down a few years ago. He was a good man. My deepest sympathy to you and your family!

So sorry for the sudden family loss. Papa crazy( as my babies call him) was a wonderful man who always put everyone before himself. He went out of his way to make all happy. He will be missed so much! RIP papa crazy!
