Emma Irene Brokaw Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1925 - 2016 Emma Irene Brokaw, 91, of Huntington, WV formerly of Coleman, MI, passed away December 29, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Minister Danny Evans. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. She was born September 2, 1925 in Yawkey, WV, a daughter of the late Anthony Matthews and Pearl McClure Matthews. She was preceded in death by husbands, Hassell Mace and Ronald Brokaw and son-in-law, Ronnie Ferrell. She is survived by two daughters, Cathy Ferrell of Barboursville and Rita Brokaw (Robert Bowers) of Saginaw, MI; one son, Lowell Mace of Huntington; four grandchildren, Ronnie Ferrell, Beth Ingels, Kelly Mace, and Eric Mace; and three great-grandchildren, Bryson Ingels, Emily Mace, and Jared Mace. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

I remember her as a teacher at Altizer school. She was a nice later and a good teacher. My prayers for her family and friends.
