Alma Clarice Chapman, 97, of Milton, went home to be with the Lord on July 10, 2017, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born July 6, 1920, in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Elba Chapman and Ossie Markin Chapman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Valentine Chapman; brothers, Emzy, Everett, and Glenn Chapman; sisters, Eva Clagg, Alta, and Merrill Furkey. She is survived by three sons, Winston Dale Chapman (Angela), Ronnie Clifton Chapman (Carla), and Bruce Douglas Chapman (Sharon); two sisters, Doris Moore and Joyce Thomas; nine grandchildren, Landy (Michelle), Kris (Teresa), Keith, Colby, Jessica, Stacy, Justin (Shana), Kim (Mark), and Tim; ten great grandchildren, Michael, Laciee, Theron, Brittany, Luke, Molly, Liam, Shannon, Corey and Dalton; and one great great grandson, Zander . Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Dr. C. J. Adkins. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. The family would like to thank the staff at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House for all their care and support.
