Allen Lee Hess Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1955 - 2017 ALLEN LEE HESS, 61, of Huntington, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. He was born on December 25, 1955, in Montgomery, W.Va., a son of the late Ottie and Doris Underwood Hess. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamala Arbogast Hess; one daughter, Leslie Ann Harless (Roger); one son, Allen Lee Hess Jr.; one sister, Kathy Williams; and one grandchild, Christopher Lee McComas. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the New Life Church with Pastor Darrell Huffman officiating. Friends may visit after noon on Saturday at the church. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Been many years since I have seen Allen or Kathy. Many wonderful memories of our family on Hughes Creek. So sorry to hear of his passing.. Praying for the family.

So sorry for your loss. Allen was one of my favorite customers at the Tobacco Hut, he always had that wonderful, contagious smile, always happy and full of life. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I read something once, that said; "Dwell not on the candle that has gone out, but rather, how brightly it shone." I remember him as always shining. May God give you and yours, comfort as only He can, in your time of loss.
