I will always remember Dan for his unique and witty ways, banter, and comebacks. He was a man of wise words, even in the midst of his humor and anecdotes. Having known Dan, and the majority of his family for the better part of 25 years - I am beyond heartbroken. Much like his mother and father, Dan was a good man with a huge heart. I share merely a small portion of your loss and pain. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I resign with these words from John 14:1-2 "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." God Bless.

I first became acquainted with Dan through stories and pictures shared through my daughter Sarah (soon to be his daughter in law); the first thing I noticed was how much Jeff and his dad looked alike, then how down to earth his mannerisms were and how happy he was to be spending time with Cameron out on the farm shooting. I had packed them some snacks and drinks ( both being Type 1 Diabetics ), Dan was grateful, reassuring, and happy to spend time with Cameron. I knew then that if his son had those qualities, then Cameron and my daughter would be welcomed, respected, valued and loved. Thank you Dan for those traits and memories, May the good times give comfort and solace during this transition in your lives.
