Carolyn K. Custer, 72, of Barboursville, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital after a short illness. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Edward S. Custer, Jr.; sons, Matthew (Sara), Tim (Tara) and daughter, Andrea Jones; and her three beloved granddaughters, Kierstin Custer, Ryleigh Custer, and Sabrina Jones. She was born and raised in Milford, DE, the daughter of the late Howard and Frances Killen. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann and brother-in-law, Donald Hall. Carolyn was a homemaker and retired from River Valley Child Development Services. She attended the Univ. of Delaware, North Carolina Central Univ. and graduated from Marshall Univ.
