1921 - 2018
 SYLVIA L. GRASS SWAN BLAKE, 96, of Milton, went home to be with the Lord May 31, 2018, at her home. She was born September 19, 1921. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley D. and Gladys Reynolds Grass, husbands, William G. Swan and Kermit T. Blake, sister, Mildred Donahoe, son, Rodney Kent Swan, and son-in-law, Arthur L. Powers. Sylvia is survived by her son, Larry (Barbara Green) Swan of Milton, and daughter, Sharon Swan Powers of Milton, as well as five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Sylvia worked at Blenko Glass and AEP. She was a member of Milton Baptist Church. The family wants to thank her caregivers for the wonderful care and attention to make her days and nights meaningful the past three years. A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Milton Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Allen Stewart. Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Milton Baptist Church or to Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.
