Howard Lee Waugh, 76, of Lesage, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 28, 2018. He was born on July 22, 1942 in Mason County, W.Va., a son of the late Hershell and Thelma Wray Waugh. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Waugh and Gary Waugh. He was a member of Pleasant View Church. He worked for ACF Industries and retired as a truck driver for Refrigerated Express. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Payne Waugh; one God given son, Steve Payne (Julie); four sisters, Deloris Perry, Phyllis Stewart (Frank), Sherry Hedrick (Harold) and Patricia Greene (Gary) and five God given grandchildren, Cheyenne Payne, Allison Payne, Piper Payne, Crede Payne and number one special grandchild, Zeke Payne. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Ted Nance and Pastor Mark Mayes officiating.
