Marshall E. “Butch” Tolbert, Jr., 74 of Huntington, WV passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, after a long illness. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 pm Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Donel C. Kinnard State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Dunbar. He was born November 29, 1943 in Jochin, WV, a son of the late Marshall E. and Roberta Tolbert. He was retired from Moses after 35 years of service and a veteran of the US Air Force. Butch was the state secretary for the Youth Bowling Association of West Virginia for 30 years, until his retirement due to his health. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Connie Sue Peyton Tolbert. He was preceded in death by one son, James A. Tolbert and one brother, James R. Tolbert. Also surviving are his daughter, Tracy L. Harding of Fayetteville, NC; sister, Lynda Browning of Charleston, WV; and grandchildren, Ezan, Miranda, Tabatha and James, II; great-grandchildren, Zaylee and James A, III.; and two special friends, Shrek and Fiona.
