1947 - 2018
 Mary Elizabeth Allen Hughes, 71 of Milton, West Virginia, passed away on August 23, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Ray Hughes, parents, Melvin and Gladys Allen, brother, Melvin (Buddy) Allen Jr. and sister, Patricia Elkins. She is survived by her children, their spouses and grandchildren; Michael, Amy and Evan Hughes of Milton, WV, Mark and Rebecca Hughes (Bret and Ryan Church) of Frankfort, KY and Drake Allen Hughes of Fort Campbell, KY. She is also survived by one daughter and son in law, Leann Hughes-Price and Lonzy Andrew Price of Charleston, WV. Also surviving are three siblings; Deloris Sparks and Bill Allen of Vermillion, Ohio and Martha Tabor of West Logan, WV; one special cousin, Brenda Benedict of Parma, Ohio; and many other wonderful in laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Mary retired from Alcon Laboratories as a Lab Technician and worked for many years at Aracoma Drug Company in Logan. She attended Milton Baptist Church and served the Lord through her love and devotion to her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends may call from 6-8pm Sunday, August 26th at the Wallace Funeral Home in Milton. The funeral service will be held at the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Logan on Monday, August 27th at noon and will be officiated by Pastor Allen Stewart.
