Dorothy Marie Lester Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1933 - 2018 Dorothy Marie Lester, 84, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with her Lord August 26, 2018. She was born October 3, 1933, in Wayne County, WV, daughter of the late Joseph and Polly Adkins. She was a member of Bowen Ridge Church. She was also preceded in death by one son, Randy Lester; three brothers, Hallie, Howard and Homer Adkins; four sisters, Tiny Adkins, Edna Baker, Hastie Thacker, and Hazel Schneider. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Wetzel Lester Jr.; one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Wendell Adkins of Huntington; daughter-in-law, Vickie Lester; one brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and Winifred Adkins of Akron, OH; four grandchildren, Beth (Dale) Ramey of Branchland, WV, Brandy (Kevin) Floyd of Lumberton, NC, Jason (Ashley) Adkins of Fort Collins, CO, Jodi (Jr) Hammond of Huntington; three great grandchildren, Zachary Ramey, Josiah and Jadon Hammond. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Ronnie Eplin and Pastor Jesse Lacy. Burial will be in Marion Adkins Cemetery. The family would like to thank Hospice House of Huntington for the excellent care that was given. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
