1949 - 2018
 On Friday, September 28, 2018, Ada Jean “Jeannie” Linville, 69, of Ona, WV, was taken to be with the Lord. She was born April 4, 1949 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Elarth Gene Skaggs and Edith Midkiff Skaggs. She is survived by her husband, Gerald W. Linville and three children, G. Wesley Linville (Michelle Linville), Shawna D. Kim, and Nicole L. Thomas (David Broughton). She also has seven grandchildren, Tabitha and Andrew Linville, Joshua Chapman, Kekoa Kim, Chance and Alex Thomas, and Ethan Broughton. She is expecting her first great grandchild. She is also survived by a special aunt, Betty Caskey, her mother-in-law, Elsie Linville, and a multitude of special cousins and friends as well. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with Pastor Greg Wagoner of Fellowship Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. So sorry for our family's loss. I always thought Jeannie was the coolest cousin and so fun to be around...she always had a great uplifting spirit...I'm sorry this is late but I never knew until the other day...prayers for the family.

Dear Family of Jean! I'm sorry my English is real bad, but I want to let you know that my thoughts & feelings are with you! I'm so sad, it's difficult to believe what happened to Jean and you all! Jean was a daily part of my life! She made me laugh, taught me a lot, she was an inspiration for me! Some Questions will never be answered...But she got a place in my heart - off limits! My deepest sympathies to Gerald and the family in the loss of our dear Jean. Jean was my favorite Twitter buddy, so sweet, upbeat, and funny every day...we miss her terribly, but know that she is in Heaven with our Lord now. I will miss Ada we have been friends since small girls. We met in school & lived around the corner from each other. More like a sister I never had. Just talked to her a couple of weeks ago & was going to visit in a couple of weeks from now.

Dear Jean, I did not know you personally. I met her through twitter and instagram, because we are fans of Liam Neeson. I am so grateful to have met you, because you have let me know a little about your life and your family. In that short time I saw how much you loved your family, was proud of your grandchildren and was a great fisherwoman. You are and always will be my great friend.
