Reta Levetta Adkins, 77, of Branchland, died Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will follow in Bowen Cemetery. She was born June 1, 1941, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Avery and Eula Childers Nicely. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Ann Perry, son, Lendell Adkins Jr., brothers, Charles, David, Avery Allen, and Donald Lee, and the father of her children, Lendell Adkins Sr. She is survived by one son, Wendell Scott Adkins (Kimberly); five brothers, Clarence, Thomas (Brenda), Larry (Sheila), Eldon, and Gary Nicely (Mary); eight grandchildren, Kevin, Gary, and Shannon Adkins, still living at home, and Michael, Christopher, Jonathan, Kayla and Rebecca Adkins; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
