Carolyn S. Carter Mansfield, 73, of Milton, W.Va, passed away January 1, 2019 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was a private caretaker of many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Erma Carter; siblings, Hazel Hensley, Esther Newberry, Harold Carter, and her husband Thomas Mansfield. Survivors include her brothers, Gene and Leonard Carter; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Danny; three grandchildren, Misty, Amanda, and Tyler; eight great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Adelyn, Wyatt, Raelynn, Rylee, Aubrey, Braxton, Jayden; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Services will be held at Susannah Missionary Baptist Church at 3 p.m. with Pastor Steve Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral Home. Wallace Funeral Home, Milton is assisting with arrangements.
