Jerry Keith Baker Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1949 - 2019 Jerry Keith Baker, 69, of Salt Rock, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born on September 5, 1949, in West Hamlin, W.Va., a son of the late Clyde and Virginia Baker. He is survived by his wife, Kay Baker; two daughters, Melanie Shae Hankins and Lori Beth Topping (Jeff); one sister, Debbie Farley; one brother, Rodney Allen Baker (Mary Helen); and one grandchild, Charles Quinn Hankins. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Rev. Jeff Mosteller officiating. Burial will follow in Green Valley Cemetery, Branchland. Friends may visit from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Kay, my heart goes out to you and the family. I would have been there but was out of town for work. Was privileged to have a long conversation with Jerry a few months ago at Morrison’s and will always cherish that conversation as it was our last. Love and prayers!

Jerry was a quiet natured young man who will forever be remembered for his quiet smile and good natured temperament. I went to high school with him and he married a good friend of mine, Kaye Cremeans Baker. Jerry was just a good guy whose heart touched so many people in his lifetime. My sympathies to his entire family and may you always be comforted by the fact that he cared so much for you.
