William Alexander Thompson, 70, of Huntington, WV, passed away February 15, 2019. He was born March 24, 1948, in Charleston, WV, a son of the late Earl Glenn Thompson and Anna Ruth Alexander Thompson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Thompson, sister, Mary Seitz, and granddaughter, Sophia. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Karen Dillman Thompson; three children, Bill Biermann (Robyn), Charmaine Bacorn (George) and Joshua Thompson (Marie); two stepchildren, Kenneth Johnson (Rhoda) and Jason Johnson (Cindy); two sisters, Karen Sue Dickison (Duane) and Carol Ann DeRoss (Loren); grandchildren, Brittany, Christian, Ryan, Cayleigh Jo, Jack, Sadie, Kole and Parker; special nieces, Rebekah and Gina; and a special nephew, Jim; special great-niece, Alicia;and two special great-nephews, Kevin and Todd. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2019, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor David Kitchen. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock.
