Richard Allen Layman Sr., 69, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 10, 2019. He was born April 16, 1950 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Edward Frederick and Sarah Frances Hysell Layman. He is survived by one daughter, Betty Johnson of Indiana; two sons, Richard Allen Layman Jr. of Huntington, and Charles Layman of Ohio; four sisters, Linda Kinder, Juanita Layman, and Connie Young, all of Huntington, and Debbie Szymanski of South Carolina; two brothers, Roger Layman of Ohio and Edward Ray Layman of Barboursville; and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with Pastor Wayne Craft officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
