Very sad to hear about Karen passing. I didn't know Karen but I know about Karen trough Gary. I know she was strong and never gave up on life even when her body was giving up on her. She remarkably kept a positive attitude a lived on her own terms. That reminds me to take a look at myself. She inspires me to do the same. Thank You Karen. The world has lost a wonderful person.

Karen will be missed in our neighborhood. She always had a friendly hello, kind words, smiles, laughs, and treat for Jack, my dog, who was crazy over her. So sweet--we will miss her.

You were always so sweet to me when we worked together at Lowe’s. You never forgot to ask me each day how I was feeling after my heart attacks. You were a special person. You will definitely be missed.
