valerie"bird" was an amazing person with a vibrant personality. her smile was contagious. I will always remember the basketball trips and overnight parties at her house. she was truly the most honest(very blunt at times) person I know. if you needed a good kick in the rear, she would give it to you and make you laugh about it. rest in peace my dear friend. say hello to my mom and Shelley for me. until we meet again.

We deeply regret that we are unable to attend the services. Valerie was a ray of sunshine in an otherwise dull place, wherever she was. We are so very sorry for her loss. Our love and prayers go out to her family.
