Donna, John and family. There are no words that we can say to ease your pain and grief. We have been so sadden to hear that Kris passed away. We remember all the good times we had with Kris at the Lion club meetings and especially the Craft Show. She will always live in your heart and memory until that day you are united again in heaven. We will be present on that day when you celebrate her life one we get through these trying times. All our love, Fred and Melanie.

Dear Family, You may never understand the impact Kris has had in our lives as a part of county government all over the state. Her knowledge and ability to remedy problem situations was incredible. I have worked in the county for 29 years and am now the Assessor in Preston County. The help we received from her will never be forgotten. I know you will miss her terribly, but know that there is a whole state full of friends that are also grieving. Thank you for sharing your comfort about her knowledge of the Lord and belief that she is now in His presence!

As both the Cabell County Assessor and President of the Association of WV Assessor’s let me say how sorry we all are.
Kris was loved by so many at both the county and state level. She always had a smile everyday that I saw her. I hope the family can feel God’s Peace during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can imagine that she was greeted by my mom, with Kris checking to see if she had her butterfly in her hair. My mom always made sure she had something in her hair to go to church because Kriis always commented on it. Kris was loved by all of us at Huntington First Church.

I have had the privilege of meeting & learning from Kris at several training sessions through the State Tax Department. She was definitely full of life and although we will miss her professionally, I cannot imagine your loss of such a beautiful vibrant lady. I'm so thankful she knows Jesus and you can find comfort in the fact that she is present with Him today. Praying for you and your family as you adjust in the days, weeks and months ahead.

Kris is now an angel of whom it may be said that she was loving, kind and forgiving to all who knew her. There are so few people about whom one might say they stand above us all in their character. She was always so very kind, and her life of service and purpose is an example. Grieving alongside you upon news of her passing.
