I've worked with Darin since his years at Joy and then with Fletcher. Over these years, Darin and I developed a friendship which I will never forget. I also met Shannon and his son Braden who Darin cherished and loved. I am so sorry for your loss. We are all blessed to have known Darin. Your family is in my prayers.

This world has lost a fine man. I have a tremendous respect for the way Darin conducted himself at work, not only to me but to coworkers, customers, suppliers. His knowledge was deep but he was always able to communicate on what ever level was required. He always either had answers or searched and provided them. A talented engineer and as good a person as you could ever meet.
My condolences to all his family and in particular his wife and son. May God watch over you.

My condolences to the Cotton family. I worked with Darin for 8 years or so. Working from South-Africa, I can tell you his kindness, friendliness and intellect was respected and appreciated by so many people here. We are all very saddened by his passing. We will celebrate his life in remembrance for many years to come, as we look back at the expert work he has done. We will miss you Darin

My heart is broken over this! Doesn't matter how often we get to see each other, family is family & we could always start talking right where we left off. My heart goes out to everyone that knew him but especially to his family. Darin was always so pleasant and fun to talk to! Prayers going up for the family & please feel free to call me if you need anything.

What a terrible and unexpected loss. I had the pleasure of working with Darin until I retired at the end of 2019. As busy as Darin was with his duty’s at work he always had time to give me his opinion about a problem that I may have had. I could always count on him and valued what he would say.
I know how much his family meant to him. He had family pictures and bits of his son’s artwork pinned up all around his office. Keep him in your heart forever. I’m very sorry that your loss.
