Dad there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you! I wish you were here to go hunting and to sell purses again! The day you left us was one of the worst days of my life! I was always daddy's little girl and ill always be your little girl forever. You were always there for us when we needed you. You were the backbone of this family and now your gone but never ever forgotten! I know your still with us in spirit and your watching over us every day! It's still not the same hearing your jokes or hearing you sing your crazy songs. Like "old pink panties that used to be my grannies!" Those are things ill cherish the rest of my life. Thank you for being the best dad ever and taking care of me! I'll miss you till the day I die and I can't wait to meet you on the other side! Love and miss you more than anything!

Dear Family, I was so sad to hear about Poppa D passing. I know he is in the arms of our savior. He was such a special man and I sure enjoyed visiting with him on the phone, he always made sure I was well taken care of and happy. He will always be missed dearly and his legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of all his "peeps" and those who loved him most. I will continue to pray for you all during this difficult time. To know Popa D was an honor. I met him through his lives on the internet. He always said when you come in my lives the first time you are a customer but the second time and from then on out you become family. Well let me tell you. He became family. His entire family is my family. He made me laugh so much. The whole family does. I love them all. The first time I watched the live I knew I was at the right place just because of how they prayed to God and sang the gospel. I want to let the entire family know how saddened I was to find out that Popa D had passed. But oh how heavens gates opened up when he walked through them. Popa D received his wings the second he got to heaven. I’m so glad I got to see him after he got out of the hospital the first time with pneumonia. He had to make sure we got one last live with him. I guess maybe it was his way of telling us all good bye. It maybe good bye here on earth but I know in my heart I will see you again one day. I will never forget you and those pocket books because man you could sell them. Lol... I will forever miss you but you will never ever be forgotten. To the family, I love each and everyone of you and send prayers to you all. Take Gods hand and hold it tight. God be with you all and God bless. ????????????

I have known Poppa D for almost a year and he became family. He loved everyone he talked to and he loved his kids and grandkids. He especially loved his wife, Brenda. You could tell by the way he always looked at her. There aren’t too many that are as kind as Poppa D was and he will be greatly missed. Private family services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Ray Vance, with visitation beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock. He was born June 19, 1957 in Huntington, a son of the late Charles Harrison and Faye Darlena Porter Coyle. He was a veteran of the US Army. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Adkins Coyle; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Anthony Clay of Huntington and Kelly and Steve Brown of Huntington; one son, Brennon Coyle of Huntington; one sister, Janet Sue Fuller of Huntington; one brother, Larry Jones of Huntington;one brother-in-law, Eugene Adkins of Huntington: four grandchildren, Brennon, C.J. and Summer Coyle and Chelsie Clay; two great-grandchildren, Autumn Midkiff and Clayton Coyle; and Kinsley, who was like a great-grandchild.
