Len was the first member of the Merritt family that I met. I took care of him after knee surgery back in the 80's and several times since. I will never forget that he flared up his knee while fishing in the Mud river long before he should have. Imagine Len bending the rules. I would go on to treat 17 members of this wonderful family at one time or another as Carl and I counted one time. Amy, Sandra as well as the rest of the family, I as sorry for your loss, may the ALMIGHTY leave us all with only cherished memories of the loved and lost. Rest assured that you are in my prayers.

Lennie was a wonderful person and my life was enriched by knowing him. He fought a hard and long battle these last few years but he is at peace with God now. May his memories be you always.

I will always smile when I think of Lenny, his big smile and bigger laugh did that for everyone he met. He wore his love and devotion to his family on his sleeve, in my opinion it was his finest quality. My thoughts are with you all.

My thoughts and prayers for everyone. I know the pain and heartache that you are and will be going through. Sometime we don't understand why. The only thing that help be was knowing that God doesn't make mistakes. All things work towards the glory of the Lord.

Len’s love was contagious! He always saw the good in everyone and was appreciative of everything. He never lost faith no matter what. Amy and Len were inseparable and to my advantage provided me a 2nd brother! I always promised Len that I would look after you and the boys and I will always keep that promise. My love to Sandra, Chip, Dale, Carla, and Robyn and all the Merritt Family. My love to the Dobbs side that embraced him from day 1 as family. Godspeed and much love to his friends and especially to you, Amy, Ryan, Colton, Sasha (his coffee buddy), and crazy Willy! My heart breaks but is full of love knowing he is in a much better place and back to his old self!
