Rev. Ralph Eugene Cazad, 90, of Barboursville, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Private services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Bob Ray. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock. He was born September 21, 1929, in Huntington, a son of the late George Edgar and Frances Ella Dowdy Cazad. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean War. He was a former pastor and member of Twelvepole Valley Baptist Church, Wayne. He was preceded in death by his wife Oweda Bragg Cazad. He is survived by five daughters, Donna and Ronnie McCallister of Barboursville, Melanie Willis of Proctorville, Ohio, Kathy Woodrum of NC, Karen Cazad of Charleston and Sherrie and Bobby Cook of Hurricane; one son, Mark Cazad of Louisville, KY; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Gladys Butcher of Chesapeake, Ohio, Janice and Jim Glenn of Huntington and Joyce and Richard Spencer of Barboursville; 15 grandchildren, including Kalyndee Cazad-Spudy, Micayla Cazad and Brenna Cook, who resided with their grandparents; 17 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Road, Huntington, WV 25702.
