To the Wilson family, I wish you peace to bring you comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart.
Jane will remain in our hearts forever. I am glad to have known of her (mostly on social media), through our Lucifans group from its very beginning. She gave, to us, a lot of herself, with Gail, through fun activities celebrating the show (live tweets, contests, events for cons, etc. Thank you for sharing her with us. It has been an honor. Again, my deepest condolences to your family. May you be comforted by the outpouring of love and support.

Jane and I bonded via my outdoor kitty who frequented Jane and Jack’s porch in search of treats. Although Indigo was their baby, they loved my kitty and enjoyed his visits. Jane was wonderful, compassionate human being and the world is diminished with her passing.

I couldn’t have asked for a better friend the past 29 years. It’s hard to sum up how special she was. She was there through good and bad times. She was so thoughtful and would do what she could to make your life better. Last summer and this spring she worked in my yard. She will forever be on my mind and in my heart. ??

Jane Ann Wilson, 63, of Milton, WV, passed away July 18, 2020. She was born November 12, 1956, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late James Gilchrist Jr. and Louise Adkins Gilchrist. She was a graduate of Marshall University with a BA degree. She retired from AEP with 20 years of service and was President of the Master Gardener Association. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jack R. Wilson Jr.; three sisters, Darla, Denise, and Donna; two brothers, Jim and Dana; several nieces, nephews, and her beloved cat Indigo. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will be private at Forest Memorial Park. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Little Victories Animal Rescue or Hospice of Huntington. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
