1940 - 2020
 Clovis Alden “Toby” Ray, 80, of Ona, WV, died Thursday, August 13, 2020 at home. He was born June 19, 1940, to the late Hallie and Hattie Ray. He was preceded in death by his son Steven Ray and sisters Donna Courts and Delores (Tim) Lambert. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during Vietnam where he received the bronze star medal and he was in the 130th Air National Guard where he served during Desert Storm. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Patricia Lewis Ray; daughter Kelly Thompson of Graham, NC, (Chuck Thompson); one grandson Derek Chapman and sisters, Valeria Regina Flora (Ron) and Stella Bartram (Philip). Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2020, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Greg Lunsford. Burial will be Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

I served with Toby in the military - we rode motor bikes together.. A great individual always level headed. Sorry - I just learned of his passing.. Patty - If I can help in anyway please ask. God bless

It was a honor to becoming Toby an patty friend Toby and I had a great realinship we become good friends as I tried to help him daily I will sure miss him you left a empty spot here but god gained a angel loved you tony please remember patty in your prayers
