1944 - 2020
 PAUL NELSON HOLTON, 76, of Salt Rock, husband of Marsha Holton, passed away peacefully with his family by his bedside on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, after a battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Paul was born on May 15, 1944 in Salt Rock, a son of the late William and Opal Holton, and brother of the late Glenn Holton. Paul was a principal for over 30 years in Cabell County. A humble follower of Jesus Christ, Paul also served as a pastor for 33 years. Paul is survived by his wife, Marsha Holton, his two daughters, Gillis M. DeWitt (Tracy) and Bethany J. Keyser (Danny), his son Paul Nelson Holton II (Elizabeth), his grandchildren Tyler DeWitt (Stacie), Bryce Keyser (Morgan), Justin DeWitt (Kelsey), Alex Keyser (Heaven), Andrew DeWitt, Marissa Keyser, his sister-in-law Becky Holton, his nephews Chris Holton (Lucky) and Chad Holton (Beth), and his great-grandchildren Lincoln, Aria, Beckhem, Rory, and Bristol. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace. Marsha, so sorry to hear of the death of Paul. I have wonderful memories of Paul during our working years as an administrator for Cabell County. He was so kind to me. He was a man of God and an awesome gentleman. He had a heart of gold for all that crossed his path. I know you will miss him. Keeping you and the family in my prayers. God has taken Paul home.

I love this family so very much and each one of you are in my thoughts and prayers. I have the sweetest memories of Poppy as we celebrated different occasions, vacationed together and when he officiated the wedding of Tyler and Stacie. He will always be a special memory for me and I will pray for your peace that passes all understanding Marsha. Love And hugs to you and the family.
