Ivan Forest Knapp Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1929 - 2020 Ivan Forest Knapp, 91, of Milton, passed away November 21, 2020 at home. He was born September 29, 1929, in Cabell County, a son of the late Faunie Knapp Layne and James Cooper. He retired from Owens Illinois. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years Betty Jo Hayes Knapp; one daughter, Debbie Kay Davis; one son, Gregory Brent Knapp; grandchildren, Melissa (Deidra), Andrea, and Jason (Mayra); six great grandchildren, Isabela, Leila, Teige, Trent, Terah, and Emma; several brothers, sisters, many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Chelcie Gibson. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Betty if you remember me i am Floyd Edmonds son we used to go fishing at Williams River with you i live in Milton now so sorry about Ivan my father talked about him and Shelby Peters before he passed take care of yourself

We are so sorry for your loss!!! Don will miss talking with his friend!! Had some great times at Knapp Reunions!! Wish we could be with you, but we both have Covid and are quarantined! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!! He was a wonderful man!!!

Our heartfelt sympathy to Ms. Betty and family. Ivan was such a sweetheart, always smiling and friendly to all whom he met. Love dancing with him at MFD and Barboursville Senior Center. We would always talk about people he thought we knew around the area. He will be sorely missed. He’s happy dancing among others learning how to do the two-step and clogging lessons.
