Dwayne and I played against each other beginning in our younger days right on through high school sports. He was a fierce competitor but always conducted himself with dignity. I am praying for all the Jimison family. Don Wallace

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear the news of Dwayne's passing. Although we played for cross-county rivals in high school, we were good friends on and off the field. After high school Dwayne went on to play for Marshall, while I chose to play out of state. Yet, that never stopped us from staying in touch. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dwayne's family during these times. Lyle & Tracy Bowyer Lexington, KY

Saddened by this news. Dwayne was a childhood school mate from early years to graduation. Stayed connected after that for several years. Many fond memories. He was a talented, great, funny guy. Thoughts and prayers for his family, and assurance that he is no longer in pain, but in the presence of the Lord.
