Chris, I will never forget the years of AWANA at 26th Street Baptist in the 90s, the van rides home after church with all of the kids, the camps, the games and competitions, all of the talks we had and just watching you grow up. You endured more than any teenager should ever have to experience, yet you took it in stride and was faithful to attend church and to take care of your little sister. I wish I could have had the chance to talk to you again as a young man my brother in Christ. My sincerest prayers of comfort for your family on behalf of the 26th Street Baptist Church AWANA of the 90s. I thank the Lord for giving all the leaders (and especially myself) the privilege to minister to you as a preteen and teenager.
