I remember driving into Barboursville when I was 6 and my sister Betty 8. After a long road trip from California we were exited to finally be ....somewhere. Passing the elementary school near the Mortuary...we see a KID....hee hee hee we looked out the window and he made a face and stuck his tongue out at us. Holy Moly I sure hope we don't see him again. Less than an hour later we hear a boy playing with his dog Blackie across the street from our Grandparents house. Holy Shoot...its HIM. I also remember tasting fresh blueberries for the first time. Unfortunately they were not ripe. However when Chuck has locked himself into the car/truck next to the blueberry tree to avoid some meds what else is a friend to do ???? HAHAHA I love this family and they made such a great impact on me. Mainly Chuck, his Mom, Karen (sis) and Aunt Jean. Rest in peace....
