Normal Albert Nash, Jr., “Buzz,” loving husband of Norma Merritt Nash for 67 years, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, in the company of his family at his home in Ona. Nash, 85, leaves a legacy of a loving family of four children, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. He is the father of Normal Albert Nash III, “Rocky” (Anise), Don Nash, Mary Alice Nash Yingling (Kevin), and Paul Adam Nash, “P.A.” (Sarah Beth). He is the grandfather of Normal Albert Nash IV, “Brody” (Donna), Scott Nash (Jenny), Jordan Nash (Amy), Chaz Yingling (Marissa), Kathryn Yingling Nicely (Clarence), Hannah Yingling Brewer (Andrew), Bishop Nash, Colleen Nash Nowlin (James), Luke Yingling (Kelli), and Grayson Nash. He is the great-grandfather of Kameron, Paisley, Ziva, Shelly, Ethan, Graham, Liam, Corbin, Mariemma, Caleb, Micah, Silas, Gabriel, Liesel June, and Caroline. He was born Aug. 7, 1935, in Barboursville, the second of 14 children and the first son of the late Rev. Normal Albert Nash and Weltha Frye Nash. Siblings are Doris Adkins, Brenda Sparks, Sandra Merritt, Sheila Foster, Steve Nash, Mary Wallace, Donna Flowers, Paul Hunter Nash, Barry “Joe” Nash, Martha Ferguson, Susan Sperry, Sherry Flesher, and Bill Nash.
