Dear Peggy and Children,
Experiencing the death of a husband is so personal that few of us can understand the grief involved. Perhaps it will help to ease your sadness if you know that Criddle will be greatly missed by all and we all share in your sadness. I met Criddle when he came to the VA as an employee. It was not long until I was impressed with his value to the VA. We required a leader for the Electrical section. I selected Criddle and never looked back. I will never forget him as friend and working partner. Shirley and I send our condolences to all of the children and family.
With Sympathy,
Bob and Shirley Davidson

This man holds so many memories. I can still hear his voice say "come on in Carol Boehm" in that deep, gruff voice and that smile on his face. Those big bear hugs he gave out conservatively. He loved his wife and family more than anything, even though he tried to be inconspicuous so everyone couldn't tell. My late husband and I met "Criddle" in San Antonio, TX while serving in the USAF. We both developed a deep love for him and his family and have continued a friendship though out the years. "Criddle" as our family lovingly called him will be missed. Looking for the great and glorious day when Jesus comes and calls us all home to be with Him.
